How to Get to Tramore

Tramore is located in the South East of Ireland, and is served by an excellent transport infrastructure, with good road links to the main population and transportation centres – Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Rosslare. Bus and Rail connections are also available.

The Irish rail network is operated by Irish Rail/Iarnród Éireann. The network operates, primarily, as a hub and spoke system, centred on Dublin City Centre. Iarnród Éireann provide an excellent on-line interactive timetable and route planner which you can access here.

From Dublin, take the N7/N9 to the West of the City, and follow the M9/N9 branch for Carlow and Waterford. Follow the N25 through Waterford City, and branch left onto the R675 as you leave the City

From Rosslare, follow the N25 for Wexford. Turn left onto the R733, and follow this scenic route through south county Wexford. Cross the Suir estuary by ferry between Ballyhack and Passage East. Follow the estuary south through Woodstown heading towards Dunmore East. Cross the R684 at Gaultier Cross and folow the R685 to approach Tramore from the East.

From Cork, follow the N25 through Midleton, the Youghal bypass and Dungarvan. 2 miles after passing through the village of Kilmeaden, take a right turn onto the R682 at Butlerstown Cross.

From Limerick, take the N24 through Tipperary Town, Cahir, Clonmel and Carrick-On-Suir. Cross the River Suir at Fiddown and follow the R680 to the N25 at Kilmeaden. Turn left onto the N25, and after 3 miles take a right turn onto the R682 at Butlerstown Cross.
